AAAA Records in Hosting
If you would like to create a new AAAA record for any domain or subdomain hosted in your hosting account, it won't take you more than a few simple steps to do that. Our in-house built Hepsia Control Panel is quite intuitive to use and it'll enable you to create or change every record without difficulty. After you sign in and go to the DNS Records section, where you'll discover all existing records for your domains and subdomains, you'll simply have to click on the "New" button, choose AAAA from a small drop-down options menu within the pop-up which will appear, input or paste the required IPv6 address and save the modification - it is as basic as that. The new record will be 100% live within no more than one hour and the hostname that you have created it for will start opening whatever content you have with the other provider. If necessary, you'll also be able to edit the TTL (Time To Live) value, which shows the time in seconds which the new record will be active after you eventually edit it to something different or you simply erase it.
AAAA Records in Semi-dedicated Servers
Setting up a new AAAA record is very easy with our user-friendly Hepsia hosting CP, so if you host a domain address within a semi-dedicated server account from our company and you want such a record either for it or for a subdomain which you have set up under it, you will be able to create it within a few simple steps and without any hassle. Hepsia features a section dedicated to the DNS records of your domain addresses where you can find all current records or create new ones with a couple of mouse clicks. All it takes to accomplish this is to select the domain/subdomain you need to edit, pick AAAA for the type from a drop-down menu and input the actual record i.e. the IPv6 address the other provider has given you. Within an hour after you save the modification, the newly created record is going to propagate worldwide and your domain name will start pointing to the third-party hosting server. If they demand it, you can also edit the TTL value, which outlines the time this record is going to be active with its current value before a new one kicks in if you make any changes in the future.
