Our technicians have got plenty of experience with website migration and are able to take care of everything – from a regular WordPress–driven weblog or Joomla^™ web site, to a very elaborate, custom–built web application.

A: We strive to carry out all web site migrations as quickly as possible. Nevertheless, we do not have a set time frame for web site migrations. There are certain factors that you have to take into account – the sheer size of your website and the workload of our web site migration staff, etc. We always strive to perform each migration in under 48 hours. With less sizeable websites, our staff typically manages to finish in less than 24 hours.

A: Yes. We will require the name of the site that you wish us to migrate. We will also need a means to log in to your old web hosting account so that we can get the content pertaining to your site.

A: Before we can start the migration of your hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share the exact same info you have given to your old hosting provider. We also have a very strict Privacy Policy, which specifies how sensitive data is used.

A: Your site will work exactly like it did before with your previous web hosting provider. Once we are done with the transfer, your web site will be configured to work on our web hosting platform and we’ll ask you to preview it. If it is working correctly, all you will need to do is change the name server resource records for your domain. Your web site will be transferred to us without any downtime.

A: While we move your web content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We won’t contact them in any way.

A: Yep. We support all standard Linux–based web hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–based hosting platforms, since we do not offer Windows web hosting services ourselves.In addition, we do not support proprietary web site building and administration user interfaces such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
